Hi! Welcome to the Hortman Family's home page.

Thanks for stopping by our online home! We're the Hortmans... Jason and Stephanie. Our site's not too big right now, but we do have a few pages up. We have a page with some of our favorite links. We're both fans of blogs, too. Stephanie writes on this blog (http://www.jhortman.ods.org/blogs/stephanie/), and while Jason doesn't have a blog on this site any more, he really likes this blog (http://vineyarddawg.typepad.com/). For more of our favorite blogs, check out the links page.

As you might have noticed, the layout of this page looks a lot like Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org)'s website. That's because we're using the open-source version of their website software, known as MediaWiki (http://www.mediawiki.org). Click on the appropriate links to learn more about this software.

Jason travels a great deal with his work... and he takes pictures (http://jhortman.ods.org/album_idx.html) (sometimes)!  :-) Wanna see some (http://jhortman.ods.org/album_idx.html)?

This (http://jhortman.ods.org/emergency.html) is a really funny page. It's a great parody of the government's "terrorism awareness" campaign.

The tragedy of September 11, 2001, will live with our country, and our people, forever.

Jason was unfortunate enough to be present in downtown Mahattan during the 9/11 attacks. If you'd like to hear his story and perspective on these events and see some photos, click here (http://jhortman.ods.org/wtc.html).
Thanks for stopping by!
